Whether you’re ready to try stand up paddle boarding or you’ve been doing it forever and visiting us for the first time (took you long enough!), there are some things you need to know to make your first visit the best it can be. Getting you up on a board will simply involve booking a lesson/group event, or signing up for a class and signing a waiver upon arrival. We may also organize some extra supervisors if you’re coming with kids or group. Below are some links that you can review and follow if you need extra info. Give us a call (519) 890-3486 and we’ll get you SUPing in no time!

What to Bring/Equipment
Anyone who paddle boards or supervises (that means you, parents!) needs to have a current waiver on file at South Surf. Adults 18 years and older can fill out their own waiver at anytime, but minors under 18 years old must have their waiver completed and signed by their own parent or court-appointed legal guardian. Waivers stay active for two years before needing to be renewed. Save time and paper by reading through the waiver before you arrive. Upon arrival all you do is sign, date, provide an emergency contact and you’re on your way!
